Centro Lario is the ideal starting point for a visit to Lake Como, the area around the towns of Bellagio, Menaggio, Varenna and Tremezzina, the lake’s most beautiful and unusual where you can visit spectacular gardens which will give you the chance to make unique contact with nature.

There are plenty of things to see and do in Como town and a few hours is barely enough. The town is history packed and the most important sites include Romanesque churches, Rationalist monuments and wonderful Chilometro della Consocenza villas on the lake of which Villa Sucota, Villa Olmo and Villa del Grumello are the most important.
Before concluding your exploratory tour of one of Italy’s most exclusive and stylish destinations take the funicular to Brunate, christened ‘Balcony over the Alps’ because on sunny days you’ll get views across the Po plains and the whole of the Alps.
